platformer
This game is basically my first ever major Unity project (explaining the lack of graphics), mostly made for learning my way around Unity.
I do like how the mechanics have turned out, and thus want to eventually dish out some more levels, making use of the mechanics I've already coded into the game.
The controls are WASD, mouse for aim, LeftClick for shoot, shift for dash, r for restart.
The yellow crystal gives you a "shotgun", which can be used similarly to TF2's rocket jumps or Krunker.io's shotgun jump.
The green crystal gives you a grappler, which kind of feels more like a spider man swing kinda thing. Still fun to play with once you get how it works. Underneath everything, it's simply just a springjoint2d in unity.
The red crystal gives you a "dash" similar to that of Hollow Knight. In the second room of the demo, the multiple dash crystal formation gives rise to something to the likes of Hollow Knight's SUPER DASH. Just hold shift down, and you'll zoom past the screen.
The orange crystal simply gives you a double jump.
To-do:
Make more levels.
Some environmental mechanics (like a trampoline or even some basic enemies.)
LORE. I really want to do some kind of Will You Snail kind of lore with this game. I plan on voicing all the lines on my own, but I haven't gotten to writing any story yet.
A boss fight at the very end.
